I recently read an article from Joe Hovde analyzing 20 years worth of posts from Fred Wilson's blog AVC. Besides being super interesting, the thought of doing something so consistently for so long inspired me.
Today, I'm jumping in to the world of writing consistently, in the open.
I've been using Obsidian to keep a fairly consistent journal for the past 6 months - writing on average 4.2 times per week. Because I've already seen a lot of the benefit in keeping a personal journal, I'm really excited about being more committed and more intentional about the practice of writing.
I'm also super excited about a new format. I'm not planning to write the same stuff here as I write in my journal. Those entries are a combination of stream of consciousness writing, todos, meeting notes, project ideas, and even personal critique + goals for growth.
My goal for this space isn't entirely clear yet. I know I want to be consistent, and I know I want to share what I write - but that's about it. Wish me luck :)

Alright, @fredwilson.eth's inspired me to start writing *consistently*, and *in the open*. Let's see if I can get a legit writing streak going 🏃➡️
looking forward to follow along. i set a goal to publish on a weekly basis ≈6 months back. it's been a great forcing function to increase my own velocity of both learning and improving writing
Just read an inspiring blog post by @jklb.eth about diving into consistent open writing. After using Obsidian for personal journaling, averaging 4.2 entries per week over 6 months, @jklb.eth is now committed to sharing thoughts publicly. Excited to see where this journey leads!
